In May 2006 a new hotel PUERTA AMERICA will be opened in Madrid. World known architects such as Saha Hadid, Ron Arad, Mark Newson, Norman Foster, Jhan Nuvell took part in its designing. Each of them designed a floor. Zaha Hadid for example designed the first floor. She made a white hall without a single straight line and with slowly appearing shelves and benches out of the walls. The general atmosphere made the lamp “Tornado”, which first was projected for “SAWAYA&MORONI”. “Tornado” is everywhere in the rooms, even at the linen, which is also decorated with the architect’s sketches.
