NEW CHINA RESTAURANT “YAKITORIA” OPENED IN LONDON
The first china restaurant under Russian brand “Yakitoria” was opened in London. Interior of the restaurant was created by “ROMM” (the chief architects are Elena Orelskaya and Alexey Pyshkin). Chairs and arm-chairs by Sawaya&Moroni (exclusively painted), soft furniture and tables by Fratelli Boffi, bar coating made by ROOM’s sketches, sanitary engineering by Apage were used in the interior.
Elena Orelskaya: The quarters itself gave the idea of interior. It faces the channel with a beautiful sight, old warehouses, bohemian barns, and gondolas seen at the channel. “Japan” was born in the interior as three-dimensional varnished glossy levels of wasabi and ginger colours. By its form and division it was cast by modern Japanese architecture.
