SHINOK
Restaurant is situated in the famous restaurant row at Presnya, opposite the International Trade Center. "Shinok" is an old word meaning roadside tavern at fairways. Restaurant is designed as a Ukrainian peasant house. The walls are decorated with embroidered towels, there are shelves with kitchen equipment from Ukrainian sticks on the walls. In the center of the restaurant there is a small yard with live home animals: hens, turkeys, a sheep, a cow and a small rabbit. There are 6 small rooms around the yard. Four of them have windows with the view of the yard. There are tables for 2-4 persons at the windows. In the first room there is a bar counter, an ancient oak and a Russian stove. The VIP-room with tables for 6, 4 and 2 persons can also hold banquets up to 12 persons.
Cosy atmosphere, music plays in the background (Ukrainian melodies). Every weekend from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. there is a funny clown for children.
